The Spider Monster
Sweet Home Season 1 mesmerized global audiences with its breathtaking depiction of monstrous creatures in a dark dystopian setting. What set the series apart was its ingenious use of practical special effects to bring these creatures to life.
Acting as liaisons between Studio Dragon and two of the most renowned special effects and creature suit creators worldwide—Legacy Effects (renowned for their work on Shape of Water, Avatar, Avengers, and X-Men) and Spectral Motion (known for their contributions to Stranger Things and Hellboy)—we facilitated the seamless transfer of three iconic monsters from America to Korea: The Blind Monster, The Protein Monster, and The Spider Monster.
Throughout the process, we maintained strict quality control standards, making multiple visits to the studios to ensure clear communication with artists and technicians, thereby ensuring the director's vision was realized to its fullest extent.
